Philanthropy
The Brotherhood of Kappa Gamma Rho is a community service based organization. In the Fall of 2020, the Brotherhood officially announced the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as our fraternity's philanthropy. Over the past years, the Brotherhood has raised money and participated in numerous walks in order to help the Alliance for Lupus Research, MS, and the American Diabetes Association progress in their efforts. Some other community service events that the Brotherhood participates in include the Penguin Plunge (for Special Olympics), holding events on campus to raise money for our philanthropy, beach cleanups in the surrounding area, Fill the Bowl, Habitat for Humanity, Tab Collection for Shriner's Burn Hospital, and volunteer work at soup kitchens. We participate in these activities with our fellow Fraternities, Sororities, and a multitude of other groups from both The University of New Haven and Yale University.
